It’s going to be devilish fun at MagicCon 6, as Tom Ellis – who plays the titular and beloved character of ‘Lucifer Morningstar’ in Netflix’s Lucifer – is returning to Germany.
Based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, Lucifer follows the former prince of darkness, who has decided he’s had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. Netflix’s most streamed series of 2019, beating out titles such as Stranger Things, The Handmaid’s Tale and Sex Education, Lucifer has accumulated a devoted fan base that would walk through hell for the show.
Tom Ellis will next be seen in Hulu’s epic nine-episode adventure series based on Esi Edugyan’s novel of the same name, Washington Black, in the role of steam-punk inventor ‘Christopher “Titch” Wilde’. He will also be taking a leading role in Players, a romantic comedy from Netflix co-starring Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) and Damon Wayans Jr (Happy Endings). In the fantasy genre, the Welsh actor has previously appeared in well-known series such as Doctor Who, Once Upon a time and The Strain. A look at his current filmography is definitely worthwhile.
Make sure you get your autograph/photo session vouchers or a place at the much sought-after “Meet & Greet” with Tom Ellis and experience the charming Mr. Morningstar live.
