MagicCon 3 | Vortrag | Westeros made in Germany

Our German contribution to the successful Game of Thrones series – presented at MagicCon 3.

  • How are the dragons created in Game of Thrones?
  • What do the German actors say about their time on the set?
  • Were scenes of the series really shot in Germany?
  • How many German actors took part?

We take you on an exciting journey into the world of the Germans on Game of Thrones and tell you a lot about the production of the series, the locations, the actors, especially Sibel Kekilli and Tom Wlaschiha, their acting colleagues on set and their costumes. Important special effects are also in “German hands”. This makes Pixomondo and Sven Martin a very important part of Game of Thrones, because they manage to make the dragons of Daenerys look so realistic that the viewer would like to believe they really exist.

Lecturer: Frank Müller, Marion Müller
Duration: 60 min  -  The Lecture will be held in: german
Marion and Frank, the superfans and experts of the cult series Game of Thrones, have accompanied the various Game of Thrones" exhibitions in their self-made costumes worldwide over the last 7 years.

They have officially worked with both Sky Deutschland and HBO, visited the locations in Northern Ireland and the studios in Belfast and moderated the Throne Talks produced by Sky Deutschland.

On their Facebook page "German Superfans-Game of Thrones" and on Instagram they report on Game of Thrones events and give useful information and tips on costumes, weapons, jewellery and props.

Since 2015 they have been passing on their knowledge to the fans in lectures, giving them an insight into the world of Westeros. Valar Morghulis
