A very special highlight awaits you at MagicCon 8: Rupert Young! The British actor has played his way into our hearts with two iconic roles – as the honourable Sir Leon in Merlin – The New Adventures and as the charismatic but opaque Jack Featherington in Bridgerton.

In Merlin, Rupert fought as a loyal knight at King Arthur’s side and quickly became a fan favourite. What began as a minor role developed into a permanent fixture in the series – and let’s face it: Camelot without Sir Leon? Unimaginable! No wonder he repeatedly intervened heroically in the last few seasons.

In Bridgerton, he surprised us as Jack Featherington, the family’s new lord who suddenly appeared. With charm, a hint of mystery and a good dose of shady intentions, he brought a breath of fresh air to the second season. Should you love him or mistrust him? Fans were torn – and that’s exactly what made his performance so brilliant!

In addition to his TV successes, Rupert has also excelled on the theatre stage. He was even nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in the West End musical Dear Evan Hansen. He has also appeared on the big screen, including in the film The Secret Garden (2020).
