Accessible for Everyone – Our Handicap Service

The team of MagicCon is happy to offer a truly enjoyable convention experience for all attendees, including those with disabilities. For this reason, we provide a dedicated Handicap Service at the event.

Visitors who have an officially registered need for a companion (indicated by a “B” on their disability ID) pay the full ticket price – their companion is admitted free of charge.

It is highly recommended to request the service in advance via email before the convention. Of course, tickets can still be purchased on-site, and additional assistance can be requested during the event. However, please understand that if you have not registered in advance and the service is already at capacity, it may no longer be available. This primarily affects Saturday, the main day of the convention – for a more relaxed experience, we recommend attending on Sunday.

Processing

Before the Convention

  • After purchasing your ticket, please send an email to verwaltung@fedconevents.com with the subject “Handicap Service – Companion” if you require a ticket for an accompanying person.
Persons with a registered need for a companion (as indicated by the “B” on their disability ID) pay the regular ticket price; the companion is admitted free of charge.

  • To register for the Handicap Service, please email Brendan “Josh” Petersen and let us know when you will be attending the convention (include the name of the convention, your full name, participant number, day(s) of attendance, etc.).

At the Convention – Part 1: Registration

  • Check in directly with our staff, who will provide your convention materials without the need to wait in the regular lines.

  • After checking in, visit Brendan Petersen and his team at the Info Desk. If needed, they will assign you a different seat (e.g., for wheelchair users).
Please note that space for wheelchair users is limited, so we kindly ask you to register with Brendan in advance.

  • You will also receive a special badge identifying you as a participant with accessibility needs.

At the Convention – Part 2: Photo Sessions and Autograph Signings

  • Of course, you are welcome to attend photo sessions and autograph signings. A team member from the Handicap Service will gladly explain all the details and assist you on-site.
