From Legolas to Drizzt, authors have featured elves in a wide variety of ways. In this writing workshop, we’ll explore the fascination of naturalism and magic, immortality and naiveté. We will explore what the appeal of these characters is – and how we can use them in stories. Bernhard Hennen and Robert Corvus will share their experiences before participants work in small groups to conceptualize elven cultures and characters. In the process, we will not only work out what we value, but also explore corners of the enchanted elven realm that no human has entered before …
