What should not be missing at MagicCon? Exactly! Enough “Magic” of course. That’s why a workshop on the Trading Card Game (TCG) Magic: The Gathering will be offered again this year. Christoph Schnelle’s workshop is primarily aimed at beginners with little or no experience. The game is explained from the ground up, so the workshop Magic: The Gathering – Getting Started offers the possibility to get a taste of one of the most complex and oldest TCG.

The workshop is divided into two parts. In the first lesson the basics of the game will be explained and first auditions will be conducted. In the second lesson this knowledge is then deepened so that at the end of the game each participant can play a game independently. All participants will be equipped with the necessary materials and may keep them at the end of the workshop at MagicCon 8 of course.

For the second hour experienced players are invited to play a game in the workshop room. Don’t forget to bring your own decks to play with you. There is no participation fee to be paid.

Registration is possible at the information desk or (if there are still places available) in the workshop room.

We are Christoph and Feliciana. More than twenty-five years ago I (Christoph) discovered the game Magic: The Gathering for myself. The variety of the game and a super nice community has ensured that this hobby has accompanied me from my young years until today. Besides countless private games with friends, I also play this game regularly at official tournaments and am now more active as a judge.

Besides collecting and playing Magic: The Gathering, I like to spend my free time hiking or trying out different creative projects. I also like to combine my hobbies, so that I create a photo story on my hike with the help of the Magic cards and tell a corresponding story.
