Exclusively at MagicCon, one of the most successful authors of media comics in Germany will report from his professional sewing box: Christian Humberg has been writing new stories for international success series such as VICKY THE VIKING, DreamWorks DRAGONS, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA and PLAYMOBIL for years. His comics and novels are now published around the globe and have been adapted for the stage several times. In this panel, the popular author explains how a comic author actually works using vivid examples. He also presents selected adventures from his pen in an interactive (and extremely amusing) “comic cinema”.

The result is a reading like no other you can’t miss. Your laugh muscles will be strained!

Christian Humberg has been working as a freelance author of novels, non-fiction books, comics and plays for children and adults as well as a literary translator and editor since the end of the nineties. As the author of successful fantasy works - including "Drachengasse 13", "Sagenhaft Eifel", "Die Wächter von Aquaterra" and "Die unheimlichen Fälle des Lucius Adler" - Humberg reads nationwide at schools, libraries, literature festivals and conventions. There he tells about his life as an author and willingly chats from his professional sewing box. He also teaches creative writing to the next generation of authors on behalf of several cultural institutions.

<Christian Humbergs' novels reach readers all over the world, having been translated into seven foreign languages, including English, Turkish and Russian.
