MagicCon 5 | Vortrag | Völlig unnützes Mittelerde-Wissen | Stefan Servos

“Ennyn Durin Aran Moria. Pedo Mellon a Minno.”

Whoever solves this riddle will gain entrance to the dwarven mines of Kazad-dûm, but what prophecy has Elven blacksmith Celebrimbor hidden in the inscription? How are Galadriel and her husband Celeborn related? And why did the dark ruler Sauron almost become a cat? Find out what puns J.R.R. Tolkien hid in the place names of Middle-earth, what mistakes crept into the novel, but also what bizarre pop-cultural influence the work has had. And finally the question is answered, what is the average flying speed of a Fellbeast including Nazgûl!

If you want to score with concentrated insider knowledge at the next Middle-earth party, you should not miss the lecture Completely useless middle earth knowledge by Stefan Servos. But be careful! It is completely useless knowledge that will not help you a bit in life otherwise.
