“The Black Gate” – A Piece of Middle-earth at MagicCon 9

This year once again, we’re taking you on a journey to Middle-earth! Covering around 28 square meters, an impressive diorama will bring the Morannon, the Black Gate, to life – the mighty fortress guarding the entrance to Mordor.

But this time, things won’t remain peaceful at the gates of the Dark Land: Aragorn and his army bravely stand against Sauron. What happens next? You’ll have to find out for yourselves – come by, take a close look, and experience Middle-earth on an impressive tabletop scale!

A Diorama of Epic Proportions

The scale of our project is truly something to behold: around 3,200 figures in 28 mm tabletop scale populate the scene. Approximately 2,200 of them have been extensively modified and individually customized. Added to this are around 140 kilograms of scenic materials, along with countless lovingly crafted details from our extensive collection of accessories.

A project of this scale could never be created by just one team. That’s why we would like to extend our special thanks to the many fellow hobbyists and companies who supported us with materials, expertise, and in countless other ways:
