MagicCon 6 | Vortrag (Lesung) | Schatten der Magie | Catherine Snow

Catherine Snow, author of the “VIRIDIS Saga” and “Akademie im Niemals”, reads from her new novel, “Schatten der Magie – Das Arkane Portal”.

What happens when magical beings are inferior to humans, despite all their power?

Experience fantastic adventures together with the members of the Dark Claw, fathom the secrets of the past, and fight for a peaceful future for magicals and humans in 19th century England!

“All she wanted was to sink into that moment and forget that she had already forgotten….

While the genius inventor Conrad Locksmith has opened the hunt for magicals, they are already searching for powerful artifacts to reclaim their place in the human world.

Only the trickster Bane, the leader of a group of magically gifted people – including a unicorn, a demon, a witch and her tame snow leopard – still believes in a peaceful solution. But Dakota, of all people, the newest member, lacks any memories, and that’s what could lead to a final decision – or fuel the battle between humans and magicals for good.”

Catherine Snow, born in 1991, lives with her family in Innsbruck. Stories have always haunted her mind and in February 2020 she finally published her first novel. In January 2021, the prelude to her three-part short story series "Das Amulett der Zeitreisenden" was published, followed in December by her publishing debut "Akademie im Niemals" at Bookapi Verlag, where "Schatten der Magie" will be published in summer 2023.

The author studies primary education, likes to celebrate boisterous parties with dragons and dwarves and travels all over Aventuria as a socially-phobic druid with her idiosyncratic Thorwal gang, a dog and a wolf.
