Forged with Dragonfire

For thousands of years, the sword has been the quintessential slashing weapon.

Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon also feature a variety of weapons, but the swords in particular (some with illustrious names such as Ice, Heartsbane, Dark Sister, Longclaw or Oathkeeper) stand out from the crowd.

Our workshop focuses on the many different methods and materials used to make swords today.

There are metal, precious metal, combat, show combat, LARP, 3D printing and wooden swords, sometimes also a combination of several materials.

In the workshop we will introduce different materials, show differences, what is made of what and also give a look into the practical side for cosplay and LARP.

As we will be bringing lots of different weapons and their basic materials, the workshop is suitable for ages 16 and up.

It’s not just about listening but also about touching and getting to know the weapons.

But don’t worry, nobody will be decapitated, mutilated or killed.
