MagicCon 7 | Vortrag | Dumbledore & Grindelwald ...?

The Fantastic Beasts films were supposed to answer many of the questions raised about Dumbledore and Grindewald in the Harry Potter books. At least that was the hope of many when the title of the second film The Crimes of Grindelwald was announced. But all the people who saw the Fantastic Beasts films came out of the theater with bigger question marks than when they went in. After the third film, The Secrets of Dumbledore only got bigger. The story of Grindelwald was already hinted at in the Harry Potter parts. But what actually happened? In the lecture Dumbledore & Grindelwald …? the question is asked and in the same breath, why Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter is the way we know him. What makes him who he is, what happened in his youth, what traumatized him for life. Was there love between Grindelwald and Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts films? Or more hatred? And what happened in the great duel of 1945?

In short, the story that the Fantastic Beasts films should have told.

Lecturer: Typisch Ravenclaw
Duration: 60 min  -  The Lecture will be held in: german

Behind Typisch Ravenclaw are the two sisters Julia and Sina. They both developed a great love for fantasy at a very early age. They then hopelessly lost their hearts to Harry Potter. As typical Ravenclaws, they love to spend their time with in-depth research projects and extensive discussions about Harry Potter.

They have been giving talks about these projects at various conventions for several years and have also had a podcast for some time. The two have spent the past year traveling around the world. Of course, they didn't leave their nerdiness at home, but simply moved their research projects from their desks to the train.
