Giles Matthey has carved out a firm place for himself in the world of fantasy and mystery series thanks to his charming presence and his talent for playing extraordinary roles. He achieved his greatest fame as the fairy prince Claude Crane in True Blood. With his dry humour, a healthy dose of self-confidence and plenty of charisma, Claude quickly became a real fan favourite in the cult series.

Giles Matthey also made a lasting impression in the fairy-tale world of Once Upon a Time: as Gideon, the grown-up son of Belle and Rumpelstiltskin, he played a character who was as gripping as he was multi-faceted. He has also appeared in 24: Live Another Day, Jobs and Le Mans 66 – Against All Odds, amongst others.
